is company of heroes a good RTS game?
I am looking for a good RTS game that is less focused on building X number of units within 3 minutes and more focused on strategies like flanking and using terrain to your advantage. Is company of heroes a good game for these things ?
In Company of Heroes and its additions Opposing Fronts & Tales of Valor you still have to buy squads and set up buildings and you can use flanking and you broken vehicles and such to use as cover but the true war mission feel is not there. I would personally recommend Men of War/ Men of War: Red Tide there is a lot of strategy involved and the missions are action packed. There is a whole lot of realism involved in the game and you have whole control over the units. It is a lot easier to use than COH and the layout is set out very nicely. The multiplayer is good too. Another good game like it which is a few years old is Faces of War which I thought was very similar. If you are looking for a more futuristic game involving future like wars then I would suggest World in Conflict.
